Timing is Everything!

In this day and age with less job openings and more unemployed, timing is everything!  As soon as you find a job posting submit your resume and cover letter as soon as possible.  If a company calls be sure to pick up the phone right away or call back as soon as possible.  Set up job alerts to get job opening notifications instantly.  If you hesitate at all you may miss your opportunity because someone else is already seeking out that position.

Most national governments also have job listings.  These can be more competitive but for some this might be a dream career.  Check out USA Jobs!
