Job resources and discussion about finding jobs. With so many currently unemployed and many others dissatisfied with their current jobs I thought I would create a blog to help people find jobs. I hope this will evolve into an interactive blog with every reader that has a comment, opinion or suggestion to go ahead and post it.
Keep your credit rating and history good. What does this have to do with your job search? More and more companies especially financial firms are checking your credit history during the background check. They use the assumption that good credit means you are more trustworthy, responsible and a better candidate to hire. Times can be tough when unemployed but be sure to keep your payments current to keep your good credit rating.
Check out Idealist.org to find volunteer opportunities, internships, nonprofit jobs and work with organizations that make our world a better place. These types of jobs could be great for your resume, a second job or those looking for new areas of work.
